Our certified Organic Blueberry field is located at our home farm site
Our heritage blueberries were planted in the late '60s/early '70s. The four varieties (Blue Ray, Blue Crop, Berkley, and Jersey) are planted in blocks that alternate varieties to enhance cross-pollination resulting in naturally bigger berries. At the time, berries were planted for favored characteristics that included: flavor profiles, color, shape, and stature (rather than ability to be machined picked).
We are on a quiet street and our orchard offers unobstructed views (depending on cloud cover) of the Canadian Range and Sumas Mountain.
